Dr. Vincent Defalque is a 2001 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Liège in Belgium.  After graduation, Dr. Defalque completed a one year Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the National Veterinary School of Lyon, France, followed by a two year residency in Veterinary Dermatology at Michigan State University.  This training involved clinical dermatology and allergy as well as dermatohistopathology.  Dr. Defalque focused on canine middle ear disease in his residency research projects.  His special interests in clinical dermatology are atopy, food allergy and feline skin diseases.

Previously, Dr. Defalque worked at the Dermatology and Allergy Section of the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital (University of Pennsylvania), one of the busiest veterinary teaching hospitals in North America.
